The Best Wedding Drink Menu

Whether you decide to have a simple open bar or a personalized bar at your wedding, choosing the right drinks to serve on your big day does not have to be a struggle. In fact, all you have to do is serve the basics and a few signature drinks on the menu to make it a little more fun! The signature drinks can be His and Her favorites or you can have an array of classy drinks that you know your guests will all love.

The Basics

Beer, Wine, Cocktails. You can keep it that simple! Here are a few recommendations:

Beer: Four Peaks IPA, Bud Light, Sam Adams

Wine: Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Zinfandel, Riesling

Cocktails: Long Island, Mojito, Tequila Sunrise, Mimosa

This is the list to which you can add things for those under 21 as well. You can simply have choices like a Shirley Temple, a Chocolate Soda, and a little bit of a twist on juice such as a Sparkling Cranberry Apple Cider. We also know that when we were kids, the bartender who gave us a drink in a fancy glass with extra cherries got some serious bonus points!

Hers + His

This is the even more fun part! You might have seen this as a tip catcher at some weddings, where there’s a jar next to each person’s signature drink and whichever one gets the most tips can “win” for the best drink favorite. It also gives your bartender a way to earn a little extra cash! All you have to add to the menu is your favorite and his favorite signature drink. Just for fun, here are some interesting examples that we have seen before!

Hers: Captain and Coke + His: Mai Tai

Hers: Margarita + His: Americano

Hers: Grapefruit Sangria + His: Moscow Mule

How simple and fun, right!? While you may choose to have no alcohol at your wedding, just know that there are so many other ways to have some fun when it comes to drinks. Either way you choose to go, the options are endless and your guests will love you for the effort that you put into it. Overall, make this a fun and personalized addition to your big day!
